Masjid Jami’ An-Naim Yonarhanud served as the venue for the Tahsinul Qira’ah activity attended by 200 TNI personnel from various units on Wednesday (13/03/2024), during the holy month of Ramadan. The participants enthusiastically joined this activity to improve their Quranic reading skills.
Initiated by the KKN STIBA Makassar students, this activity not only benefits the soldiers in enhancing their Quranic reading abilities but also serves as a platform for fostering camaraderie and strengthening cooperation between STIBA students and the defense forces.
Yandri F. Daulay, as the Coordinator of the KKN Students in Sudirman Village, involved his 11 members stationed in the village.
The Tahsinul Qira’ah activity commenced with the assessment and classification of the soldiers’ Quranic reading skills over three days. Subsequently, the students provided tahsin instruction to the soldiers categorized based on their abilities. This activity is scheduled to continue throughout the month of Ramadan.
Major Arh Edwin Hermawan, S.H., M.A.P., Commander of the 16th Arhanud Battalion 16/SBC/3 Kostrad, commended the Tahsinul Qira’ah activity involving KKN STIBA Makassar students. He stated that this activity marks the first time students have been involved in shaping soldiers with proficient Quranic reading skills.
The collaboration between the military and religious scholars is expected to set an example for similar activities in the future, further enhancing the religious quality of military personnel.
