(STIBA.ac.id) Makassar – STIBA Makassar, in collaboration with the Hadji Kalla Foundation (YHK), has implemented the Tebar Dai program during Ramadan 1444 H. Fifteen dai who are students of STIBA Makassar were placed in foster villages spread across four provinces, namely South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, and Southeast Sulawesi. They will serve as prayer leaders, teach tahsin, and preach Islamic enlightenment.

The selected dai have been dispatched to their respective regions from the Meeting Room of STIBA last week. The Head of Public Relations and Cooperation of STIBA Makassar, Ustaz Muhammad Istiqamah, Lc., M.A., said that the collaboration between YHK and STIBA in implementing this program has been carried out twice. He hopes that Tebar Dai can succeed again in its implementation this year.

“We certainly hope that the collaboration with the Hadji Kalla Foundation can be carried out successfully. Our young dai who serve in foster villages can also be accepted by the community where they are stationed,” he said on Monday, March 27, 2023.

One of the young dai, a student of the Comparative Mazhab study program at STIBA, Muhammad Farid, said that he was assigned to Kurrak Village, Polewali Mandar Regency. He stated that he had prepared himself to lead the Tarawih prayer and deliver religious sermons.

“I am personally ready for this noble task and hope to be accepted by the community. I have been practicing my recitation during the preparation period. Hopefully, I can carry out the tasks from the Hadji Kalla Foundation and the campus well,” he said.

Farid’s routine during this early Ramadan is teaching children in the village to read and write the Quran. For him, in addition to delivering Tarawih sermons and leading prayers, teaching children is the most enjoyable part of his task.

Therefore, YHK continues its collaboration program this year.

“We entrust great hope to the young dai that we will dispatch today to bring benefits to the community through preaching. They will carry the good name of the Hadji Kalla Foundation and STIBA to be better known by the public as an institution that brings benefits to the wider community,” he said.

The following are the list of YHK’s foster villages that serve as the locations for the implementation of the Tebar Dai Ramadan program, namely Sering Village (Soppeng), Kurrak Village (Polman), Sumarrang Village (Polman), Bonelemo Utara Village (Luwu).
