(STIBA.ac.id) Gowa — The sixth batch of KKN students from STIBA Makassar in Malino neighborhood attended a meeting with the Commander of the School for Prospective Enlisted Personnel (Secata) and his staff on Tuesday (28/03/2023). The meeting was held in the context of parting ways and also to give appreciation in the form of a certificate of recognition to the KKN students for their participation in guiding the student soldiers of Dikmata TNI AD Gelombang II TA. 2022.

The friendly meeting was held at the Secata Office and was attended by ten Secata leaders, the KKN Coordinator of Tinggimoncong District, and six KKN students from Malino Neighborhood.

The Quranic guidance activities conducted by KKN students from Malino neighborhood to the student soldiers of Dikmata have been running regularly three times a week in the last two months. The student soldiers were very enthusiastic in participating and welcoming this activity.

Lieutenant Colonel INF Faizal Amin, S.I.P. as the Commander of Secata stated that the Quranic guidance is a positive thing that should be continued by the next batch of KKN students.

“In my opinion, this is a positive thing that should be continued by their younger siblings later, so that the next generations will be informed that we at Secata are open to this,” he said.

Furthermore, he also expressed his hope that the next year’s STIBA KKN could also cooperate with Secata in religious guidance, not only by teaching the Quran but also by adding other religious activities.

Malikul Saleh, as the Coordinator of Malino Neighborhood, on behalf of his colleagues, expressed his gratitude.

“I, on behalf of my KKN colleagues in Malino Neighborhood, would like to express our gratitude for the opportunity given to us, so that we could teach the Quran to the student soldiers. We also apologize for any shortcomings in teaching and guidance during this time, and God willing, our KKN period will end on Thursday, March 30, 2023,” he said.

Dwi Faturrahman, the Coordinator of Tinggimoncong District, also gave appreciation to the KKN students of Malino Neighborhood who had successfully built cooperation with Secata, as this was the first time that KKN students were able to hold religious guidance at Secata.

The meeting ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation from Secata to the KKN students of Malino Neighborhood, followed by a group photo.
