“We have experienced many new things, and as the District Coordinator, I would like to express our gratitude to the Moncongloe government officials who have provided us with opportunities and facilities. At the same time, we apologize if there were any shortcomings during the KKN program. We hope that future KKN programs will be even better,” said Andi Quarzy Ayatullah in his speech.

This withdrawal event was also attended by Ustaz Ahmad Syaripudin, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I., as the Deputy Head of IV STIBA Makassar. The police representative also appreciated the work programs implemented by the students, particularly the Polisi Belajar (Learning from the Police) program organized by the KKN team in Moncongloe village.

“All the activities carried out by the KKN students have been very positive, and the results are evident. This can be seen from their outstanding performance during the Festival Anak Saleh competition, which is a result of the students’ guidance. Therefore, on behalf of the Moncongloe sub-district government, I would like to express our gratitude to the STIBA Makassar students who have implemented highly beneficial programs. We also highly appreciate the students for their good coordination with the local government in implementing these programs. We hope that in the future, we can continue to work together effectively. Finally, we apologize on behalf of the Moncongloe sub-district government for any mistakes or shortcomings,” said Mr. Herwan, S.Sos., M.Si., the sub-district head of Moncongloe.

The withdrawal of the KKN VI students from STIBA Makassar was accompanied by the presentation of souvenirs to representatives from the villages in the Moncongloe sub-district. The atmosphere became emotional when local community representatives expressed their impressions and messages during the students’ presence in Moncongloe.

“As the people of Moncongloe, we are very grateful to the KKN students from STIBA for their guidance. We have benefited greatly from their teachings, especially in learning how to recite the Quran correctly. Thanks to the students’ presence, even those who were illiterate in Arabic letters have learned bit by bit. We hope that the programs implemented in our community will have follow-up actions because we, the people of Moncongloe, still greatly need the presence of KKN students to teach us religious knowledge,” said one of the community figures in conveying their impressions and messages.

The room became even more emotional when one of the KKN students expressed their impressions and messages on behalf of all the students. They mentioned that the people of Moncongloe welcomed them warmly and treated them like family. They gained numerous experiences, including learning to sacrifice in spreading the teachings of Islam. They continued by saying that although goodbyes may not bring smiles, it is not the end of hope for future visits and meetings.

“Please pray for us as we reach the end of our campus journey, that we may be granted ease in completing our studies and continue to serve the community tirelessly and without breaks,” they concluded.

The event concluded with a group photo session.
