The cheerful atmosphere colored the Tablig Akbar organized by the KKN VII students of STIBA Makassar at Babuttaubah Mosque, Kel. Borong, Kec. Tanralili on Sunday, 12 Shawwal 1445 H (21/04/2024). The theme of the event, “Between Society and Students in the Bond of Kinship,” was attended by no less than 540 people, including invited guests, Field Supervisors, members of the Dirosa study groups, Funeral Organizing Teams, STIBA Makassar students, and the local community.

Muh. Akbar, as the Chairman of the Committee, stated in his speech that the Tablig Akbar was held as a moment to foster ties between the KKN STIBA Makassar students and the entire community of Kecamatan Tanralili in the month of Shawwal, as well as to serve as a platform for gaining religious knowledge.

Next, a speech was delivered by H. Abdul Muis, S.Pd., M.M., as the representative of Kecamatan Tanralili and he officially opened the event. In his speech, he expressed gratitude to the KKN STIBA Makassar students for organizing outstanding programs like the Tablig Akbar, with the hope of maintaining familial bonds among everyone.

“We hope that this activity can become a forum for maintaining familial bonds among each other. We expect that the relationships and communication among the people of Tanralili can be fostered,” he said.

“For the KKN STIBA Makassar students, be useful individuals needed by society, have good ethics. Be a reliable generation for the nation,” advised the Secretary of Kecamatan Tanralili to the KKN STIBA Makassar students.

Ustaz Akhmad Hanafi Dain Yunta, Lc., M.A., Ph.D., the Chairman of STIBA Makassar, was present as a speaker at the event, delivering a lecture on family matters. Ustaz Akhmad explained in his presentation the analogy of family in Islam as a building that strengthens each other.

“To strengthen the familial ties between the KKN STIBA Makassar students and the community of Kecamatan Tanralili, continuity is needed, as well as caring because to blend in with society, we must first be caring. To become a family, we must also advise each other, pray for each other, and visit each other,” said the director of STIBA Makassar.

Next, a documentary video on the Practice of Funeral Organizing was screened, followed by the launching and reading of the decree of the Funeral Organizing Volunteer Team across Kecamatan Tanralili by the District Coordinator, Dimas Fajar Ramadhan, and the District Coordinator’s Secretary, Muh. There are 41 Funeral Organizing Teams formed and officially inaugurated by the Kecamatan Tanralili authorities at the event. These teams will be ready to assist the surrounding community in managing funerals.

The event concluded with a group photo and the presentation of a plaque from STIBA Makassar to Kecamatan Tanralili.
