(STIBA.ac.id) Makassar – Chairman of STIBA Makassar, Ustaz Ahmad Hanafi Dain Yunta, Lc., M.A., Ph.D. accompanied by Ustaz Muhammad Istiqamah, Lc. as the Head of Public Relations and Cooperation, attended the Signing of the Joint Agreement and Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Provincial Government of South Sulawesi, Monday (21/09).

The signing of the MoU between the South Sulawesi Provincial Government and STIBA Makassar, as well as the state universities in South Sulawesi, took place in the Ruang Pola of the South Sulawesi Governor’s Office. This was intended as a step to accelerate the implementation of education with the aim of building cooperation and synergy with educational institutions within the scope of the province of South Sulawesi.

A joint agreement was signed between the South Sulawesi Provincial Government and Higher Education Service Institutions (LL DIKTI), KOPERTAIS and state universities throughout South Sulawesi and followed by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Provincial Investment Service and One Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) of South Sulawesi with the higher education universities in South Sulawesi. This event presented 241 higher education officials including the Heads of the Institute, College Coordinators, Chancellors, Directors and Chairmen of Higher Education.

Governor of South Sulawesi Province, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Nurdin Abdullah, M.Agr., in his speech, said that cooperation was needed in terms of services, including on campus. “If we maintain solidarity, we build good collaboration and synergy and, then, there is no problem that we cannot solve. Including the Covid-19 pandemic, the Provincial Government of South Sulawesi continues to maintain solidarity, build good collaboration and synergy with governments in city districts in dealing with Covid-19. Thank you to all levels of private and state higher education institutions for supporting the program that was created by the South Sulawesi Government,” he concluded.

Jayadi Nas, in his report said that the purpose of this activity was a joint effort to utilize existing resources based on mutual assistance, mutual support and cooperation in the implementation of Online-based Licensing in the Research and Development Sector, as well as a joint effort to carry out work activities in fulfilling the licensing aspect as a form of legalization in the implementation of academic and student activities in the Research and Development Sector.

“Meanwhile, the aim was to optimize the implementation of Online-Based Licensing Services in South Sulawesi Province through a One-stop Integrated Service mechanism with synergy and integration, bringing public service activities closer together, especially licensing services in the Research and Development Sector, and making it easy for students/institutions to obtain research permits and data collection permit, ” said the Head of the Investment and One-stop Services Office of South Sulawesi Province.

“In line with the aims and objectives, we created an application called “Online-Based Research Permit Management Application under the name New Normal Innovation System Information Online Campus (NENI SI LINCA) to respond and provide solutions for users,” he concluded.
