First Lecture Postponed until September, STIBA Holds Online Pre-Lecture

(STIBA.ac.id) Makassar – STIBA has been carrying out online pre-college activities during the week. The pre-lectures were intended to fill the free time of those students who are still stuck in their respective regions due to the pandemic.

As a Muslim, especially as a student of knowledge, time is an opportunity given by Allah; a very valuable favor that need be used properly. Allah swears by all times, from daybreak, dawn, morning, noon, night, and so on.

“So this activity is an important effort to maximize our time,” said the Head of STIBA Makassar while giving a speech at the opening of the Pre-lecture events via Zoom, Monday (13/07).

Pre-lecture is seen as a consequence of the termination of offline-lectures that have been postponed until September due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, it is also a form of shared responsibility to maintain relationships with the entire STIBA academic community. This is especially the expected interaction situation with male and female students that should not be limited to academic meetings alone.

Activities that took place in this Pre-lecture include academic and student activities. For academic activities, PM students from semester I to VII were presented with materials that are reinforcement in nature. Similar materials were also intended for new students. Meanwhile, student activities were filled with tarbiyah and dirasah ta’shiliyah.

“The new activity, especially for new students, will be a Virtual Dormitory concept; this concept will bring the students a dormitory situation into their homes. All students, both new and old, will be controlled daily through the media,” said Ustadz Ahmad Hanafi.

All of these were meant to maintain the spirit of togetherness. In fact, STIBA is not only a place of learning but a place of guidance and struggle. On the academic side, it has a qualified scientific capacity and it is also adequate from a mental spiritual perspective.

The pre-lecture was concluded with speeches from the Chairperson of the STIBA Makassar Senate, Ustadz Muhammad Yusran Anshar, and the Head of the Sect Comparison Study Program, Ustadz Saifullah Anshar.
